In the midst of a storm, a bird finds a safe haven in a crevice between 2 rocks on a desolate island.

Life seems to get more choatic, and less predictable. Markets play tricks, politicians talk and businessmen make decisions. But I, I should not be lazy. I, like all things, should wake and perform my tasks - Marcus Aurelius. This quote has always stuck with me. It plays in my mind when I'm laying in bed to long, but I've gotten quite good at listening to what ever is before me rather than my own voice. I've gotten good at quieting my own voice, it's time we hear it again. It's time I stop quieting my voice, stop ignoring it. Not that this is a call for action, rather a change in how things are done. A slow but steady change, daily.
Ah, it is good to write again, though I am out quite of practice I will try again, afterall this is an online journal and frankly who cares whether someone reads it or not. Nothing in the world is a secret, as time reveals all.
The past few months and years has been a rollercoaster, I've made headway but also lost alot of progress which I'm not pleased about. What I've gotten better at understanding is who I am, but yet far from really knowing - this has however come at a cost of peace. I've realized I like my peace, my quiet and deep conversations. I like to think about things - many times I wish I was the outgoing type. There are many occasions I have a good time, socialising, etc but it feels superficial.
I like natural, I like authentic, I like honesty but I am also just a man.
I've noticed I put my own work on hold, to clarify my own work being priorities, projects and tasks I do for myself. I don't prioritise myself. This is something which can be beneficial to me in the long run and something I do need to focus on.
Yes, that's it - focus on myself, focus on my priorities and remember each day, the day, the moment and tomorrow.
